SMSL DO200 review from Passion for Sound

If I could afford it, this is the DAC I would upgrade to, the SMSL DO200 appears to measure greatly in test results like crosstalk, channel separation and total harmonic distortion.

This is something I could see being very useful to pair with a quality set of studio monitors. Why I would pick this over the DO400 if I had the money would be simple, I already have a quality headphone amplifier, and I would want to avoid getting into diminishing returns territory. But either one of those options could be beneficial for some other people who do not. Perhaps you have a nice pair of Hifiman Sundaras or Sennheiser HD660S2's which you may want to try that with, or a different set of headphones entirely, it depends on your budget and how far you're willing to go with this.
