ZStrike37 107 June 28, 2012 Share June 28, 2012 Hello everypony! I'm in need of some helpful suggestions. I'd like some suggestions from you fine ponyfolk for some good fanfictions. Let me give you all some ideas on what I'm looking for, though. For starters, Applejack is my favorite pony, although I love them all! So I'd like to read a fanfic where she's the focus of the story, or at least has a relatively decent part of the plot. If you can think of an awesome fanfic though where all or some of them have their moment of glory, then that's cool, too. Basically what I'm saying is Applejack doesn't need to be the main character, but it'd be neat if she was. As for genre, I'm actually looking for something along the sad and tragic lines. Adventure, dark, and slice-of-life are also fine. Not a fan of sci-fi, crossovers, or HiE either. And as for shipping...well, I'm not against it if it's done tastefully, but I'm not entirely interested if shipping is the main focus of the story. For example, I'm not looking for a story where the plot is Applejack professing her undying love for Rainbow Dash. But if Applejack and Rainbow dash are on some epic quest and along the way become an item, then that's fine, no biggie. I also don't mind fighting/violence/death as long as the gore is kept in check. Blood dripping out of cuts, bloody noses, and broken bones is fine. Currently, I'm reading Immortal Game, World Without Rainbows, and Reharmonized Ponies (<3). I've also read Scorched which pleasantly surprised me. Anyway, I hope that all you wonderful ponies have a great day and I can't wait to see what kind of suggestions everypony has! Hmm.. there's something similar, it's called "Not My Destiny" You should read that, and you should read the "Monster Mash" I'll give you some good fics tomorrow, I can't remeber many names right now.... Anyway, I appreciate the suggestions. I will look into Not My Destiny. Also, Great Trixie, I'm looking for fics to read, not suggestions for writing one.
