D&D/Mane6 parallel

I've always admired the fact that within the mane 6, there's a crazy-huge range of character traits. But I think I've nailed down why.

As it turns out, D&D also has six primary character attributes. And because I like to mash things up, this seemed a perfect opportunity. It actually fits REALLY well.

Twilight Sparkle has a high Intelligence score. This needs no explanation.

Rarity has a high Charisma score. This also needs little explanation.

Fluttershy has a high Wisdom score. Wisdom is the primary attribute for druids, and Fluttershy is whole lot like a druid.

Applejack has a high Strength score. How else would she harvest entire apple trees in one kick?

Rainbow Dash has a high Dexterity score. Dexterity is all about speed and precision, and, to quote the pony, "They don't call her Dash for nothing!"

Pinkie Pie has a high Constitution score. This is the only one that only half-fits. Still, Pinkie Pie is known for being hyperactive all the time, and Constitution can translate into having enough energy to be her crazy self all day long.

Pretty neat correlation. I don't really know anything about D&D, but something like this has come to mind from time to time.

Arguably, Pinkie Pie also possesses a high Charisma score. If she can befriend everypony in Ponyville, she would need to be socially adept and have a magnetic personality by D&D standards.

Twilight would have an amazingly high Intelligence score. If it isn't in the low 20s, then it would easily be in the high teens. She was also able to make 5th place in the Running of the Leaves, so she must have some above-average Constitution.

I'll buy that. Mostly because everything Pinkie says cracks me up.

I disagree with Constitution. In fact, she based her strategy on lack of Constitution. Dexterity is a good secondary stat for wizards, and also somewhat correlates to speed.

You're right, it does fit pretty well :) Someone actually started designing an MLP campaign setting. I'm definitely going to have to try it out.

That image. Is win. Do want more! Edited by Mana Hooves
