I was just wondering how you put in text, instead of a link, like if you want to put a link to the home page, but you want it to say, IDK, Mlp Forums? Thanks for your help.

<a href="url goes here">Text goes here</a>

It's really simple really, You can use CSS to style links as well.

Thank you. GET READY WOLRD, I KNOW HOW TO DO HTML CODING!

I'm not sure writing HTML counts as "coding", per-se; it's a markup language, not a programming language. I'd suggest you read over the useful info at w3schools.com to get you along with your knowledge of HTML markup.

This doesn't work on my signature... :( *cries*

Well, of course, you can't use HTML in your signature for various justified reasons -- hence, all that's allowed is the restrictive markup language commonly used by forums -- BBcode.

Ah. You can't use HTML in signatures to my knowledge. Instead you have to use BBCode URL. This is as follows:

[url="url goes here"]Text goes here[/url]

Hmmm. This might be because you're pasting it in WYSIWYG mode instead of markup mode. Try clicking the little lightswitch at the top-left corner of the editor, then pasting the link code again.

Probably because of the formatting applied due to the code tags, but I had to use 'em otherwise it would have recognized it as a link, lol.

Uhm...hm. I am clueless. But in the text box, there's that chain up there...you can click that after highlighting some text, and then you can link it. THIS is going to the homepage.

I never said whose HP. I guess that's how it works...

This is the easiest way to create a link in your post, signature, or anywhere else you see the WYSIWYG editor. :)
