Lyrics "Luna's Song"

So for some time I've been working on the lyrics to a song for awhile. I believe that I've made enough changes to it and it sounds a lot more decent from when I first written it an was unchanged. Now it seems to have more of a melody. Please feel free to use constructive criticism.

Why would you do this?

You threw me away like I was just nothing,

Nothing to you anyways-

 

You threw me away with no reasoning

All for you it was just so pleasing

Oh, how I was so afraid-

how I thought we were sisters

But I was mistaken,

You never loved me anyways.

 

I should have seen your dismay.

You locked me away,

From all from all of Equestria.

No longer to see the glow of day-

no longer will I be afraid.

My vengence burns today.

 

I watch you all for centuries

Ignoring the sun,

surrounded by shadows

Oh how I longed for my returned,

No longer will you rule with your lies and your treason.

For the day I return I shall take back what's rightfully mine.

 

You ruled the land for far too long,

For I have been watching you far from above

I've seen through lies,

Your never ending tyranny,

Now hand over my throne

Your power means nothing to me-

My darkness engulfs the light-

 

As soon as I rule with my iron hoof

and you are forever forgotten within your mistakes.

My umbra will end the day.

Why won't you just love me today.
