The Derp Mare - concept

I was thinking of writing a fanfic about derpy being a crazed vigilante that stuffs muffins in the eyes of evil, it will be a parody of batman, green lantern , various animes.

 

Derp mare's motto:

 

In darkest night

Evil shall fear my might

For soon they will lose their sight

As nopony can beat me in a fight

 

It will be grimdark but somewhat funny with the derp mare killing dangerous villains by force feeding them the 31 different flavors of muffin.In daytime, she is just plain derpy the mailmare who has a crush on Lyra but Lyra never thought of derpy as anything more than just a friend and is currently dating bon bon.

 

Derpy forges bon bon's mail to make it look like she's having an affair with spitfire and sent the mails to Lyra in order to break them up so she can have Lyra all to herself.

I have no idea how you would pull this off, but if you feel confident, give it a shot. As a reader, I would be more interested in the crazy shenanigans of Derpy (assuming this is a comedy) then the Bon Bon love affair.

Derpy's childhood background:

 

Derpy was abandoned as soon as she was born due to her eye condition, she was adopted by a loving earth pony couple when she was a filly but one night, Derpy's foster parents were killed right in front of her by a pegasus supremacist who believed that the adoption of a pegasus by other races is an attempt to destroy the pegasus race and culture.

 

Derpy became messed up after the incident and started living on the streets where she would steal food to survive.Derpy frequently went to the woods to strangle woodland critters while imagining them as the pegasus who murdered her foster parents.One day, a filly named fluttershy witnessed the horrible act and she started to run as she cries but derpy soon chased her down and gave her a brutal beating.Feeling the satisfaction of inflicting harm on a pony for the first time, she is determined to re-experience the high by beating down criminals and villains but the satisfaction decreases over time so she became more brutal in her methods and eventually started killing them by force feeding and other cruel methods.

 

I have no idea how you would pull this off, but if you feel confident, give it a shot. As a reader, I would be more interested in the crazy shenanigans of Derpy (assuming this is a comedy) then the Bon Bon love affair.

 

It will be a parody but it will not be too obvious and people who don't get similarities could simply look at it and think that it's a pretty good story on it's own.
