How did you find MLP Forums?: I Google'd Brony Forums and clicked on everything. This one was pretty.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: More or less accidentally. I had a friend that is a MLP fan and kept posting pictures about this Rainbow Dash fella. Didn't know a bloody thing about MLP, Bronies or anything of the like until he had mentioned the word "Brony." I have an un-natural curiosity with subcultures and such, so I attacked the internets to learn more of these strange people.After finding out there was a show that this was all about, I did what any open-minded individual would do and typed it into YouTube. "PONIES The Anthology" got me even more intrigued because I was always a fan of the "AMV Hell" series and I was determined to discover where so many of these hilarious scenes came from.Ten days and two and a half seasons later, I finally accepted that I like the bloody show (curse you Lauren Foust!).

Without going into too much detail, as I already wrote a small book in the previous section, I am a 25 yr old single father, and a Brony *sigh*

 

I'm still working on accepting that fact, though it's nothing new to me because I grew up watching Sailor Moon, reading things like Love Hina and the Anita Blake novels and playing Dungeons and Dragons. "Feminine" interests and social outcast-ism isn't anything new to me.

 

I'm a 90's filly (well, late 80's - but I remember the 90's!) but never watched any of the other Gens of MLP. Some ponies might not think that a bad thing. At least for the next few months I'll be residing in Tennessee serving the last of my 7 yr stint in the Army, and then it's back home to California. I'm as artistically talented as Tom the Rock, but can find my way around Photoshop (or Pixelmator) just fine. So any pictures that have my name on it will also have credit to the amazing ponies that can draw.

 

I can however write, and at one point in my life wrote a book. No, I didn't have it published. No, I don't have a copy you can read (Anymore. Thank you Windows, you *expletive deleted*) You're just going to have to trust me on this one. I haven't written any FanFic for MLP - yet - though I do have quite a storyboard going for the war between Celestia and Nightmare Moon (taking quite a liberal Artist License to the subject). It might, one day, make it somewhere where interested ponies can read it.

 Q: Do you do the Facebook?

 A: Is that on The Internets? No, I do not have a Facebook.

 

 Q: Do you tweet?

 A: No, I make normal pony (people) noises. Besides, enough people speak bird that I don't have to.

 

 Q: Do you play *insert name of game here*

 A: I don't own an XBox, and because of aforementioned book deletion, I have been a Mac user for the last several years, so certain games are just out of the question*. I do have a Steam account and I do play WoW (for now, and Horde - before you ask).

 

*I know, BootCamp and all that jazz. I'm cheap, and have a grudge against Windows - just let me feel like I'm being rebellious and it's better for everyone.

I must agree though, this forum is pretty. there's always a lot going around in Octavia's hall if you want to check out arts or other stuff (music, fics n stuff) and either offer some advice, or share any of your own stuff/ask for ideas

Welcome to the forums, brother! You're experience sounds almost like mine, but unfortunately I came in to it for kicks and giggles, thinking it was a ridiculous thing to get in to. Haha, jokes on me now. 

Anyways, I'm Meirno, the self-proclaimed biggest Rainbow Dash fan around these parts. I hope you'll enjoy your stay, we have something somewhere that will about accommodate just about everyone's needs. As the Fubz has spoken, you may enjoy Octavia's Hall the most, considering that is where a lot of our more creative members hang out.

I'm sorry bro - never been to Drum, though I work with a few that have. Heard it's downright terribad during this time of year.

 

I'm in aviation, fix the Chinooks. Don't fly on them though, something-something-motion sickness-something-something.
