Evo Championship: Fighting is Magic

Okay, so my friend showed my this year's Evo list and this year it's 8 main games. (You can read it there) So far there's 7. The 8th game will be determined by which side tournament game gets the most donations. Fighting is Magic is on the list and i'm also going there this year to Evo so hopefully we can all get Fighting is Magic onto the Mainstream list and not just a side tournament. There's a couple of good games onto that list but i personally want Fighting is magic to get up there. I've played some of the games that are there like All-Stars Battle Royale and Street Fighter 3rd strike. I don't think 3rd strike will make it cause i personally think that it's a dead game by now, and as much as i love All-Stars. I don't think it will make it either. 
I'll going to donate by going there myself so there's no worries on that but still hopefully, HOPEFULLY this game can make it onto the main list. I'm dedicated to train in that game all year to prepare. I'm even willing to get a job and save up money since i'm 17 now. I want to go to this tournament and win at Fighting is Magic. There's just no way i can't miss it. So, lets see what this fandom can do and help Fighting is Magic get to the top! (And finally put an end to Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 being the mainstream fighting game.)

Oh man so many top tier choices its going to be alittle hard to know which game to root for. But i am hoping that fighting is magic gets the pick i would be disapointed if it didn't get chosen casue i know how EVO likes its 2D Fighters. so all i say COME ON EVERYPONY DONATE TO THE CASUE!!!!

I read it even more closely. We have to donate by the end of January so that's balls. It says the 8th game will be announced at the end of January so there's not much time. Alot of time, but maybe not enough. Although our community is VERY big and cherish but some of those other games do have alot of love and ppl will more then likely be willing to donate to that assorted game. 

Honestly, i doubt Melee, Blazblue, Street Fighter 2 Super Turbo, Melty Blood, Gulity Gear, Virtua Fighter 5, Divekick, SNK 2, Injustice, Darkstalkers, Soul Calibur V/5, Skullgirls, & Dead or Alive 5 is gonna make it cause those games are beyond dead. The problems are Brawl, maybe All-Stars, & 3rd Strike. Other than that. MLP: Fighting is Magic got this in the bag hard body.

You make a very good point about the other games i would love to see melee in at EVO its a time honored classic that puts brawl to shame. Blazblue is a crap fighter,SF2Turbo dont think so, Meltyblood/Guilty Gear aint going to make it those are rly niche fighters like skullgirls,Divekick, and Darkstalkers. DoA 5 does show potential its better than the last one in a few regards. Injustice i dont think is even complete yet the same with Fighting is Magic but i do hope that either Fighting is Magic or Soul Calibur gets chosen casue i think they are both tournament worthy but thats just wishful thinking we will know for sure at the end of January. Well that was a long post but i will leave you with this. ALL STARS IS A SHAMELESS RIPOFF OF SMASH BROS. Rant Over.

I kind of want Brawl or Melee to win because it would once and for all confirm that Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game series, it's been debated all these years if Smash Bros. can be called an actual fighting game and the series making a appearance at Evo will end the debate. It also would be nice to see a different type of fighter at Evo.
