Theories over King Sombra, Queen Chrysalis, and Discord

So today me and my friend were talking a lot about theories of my little pony and future episodes. I am not talking about the theories of how the ponies came to be or anything creepy off of creepypasta. I am talking about something more important that will actually make you think not scare you

 

 

So I was thinking a lot on all the different stories that are told throughout the seasons and the different antagonist.

I would like to start from the beginning I guess you can say or how I think it may be the beginning.

 

So in one episode in the series there was the story of the love potion on Hearts and Hooves day. The story talked of a prince a princess failing their royal duties because of the potion and so the Kingdom fell apart. I was thinking that well all the antagonist in the series were once ponies because princess Luna was corrupt by dark magic and she trasformed. So maybe the princess and the prince were King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis. Maybe they were overthrown by Discord the "dragon" in the love potion story becauuse his body shape resembles that of a dragon. Once he overthrew them Discord was deafeated and then cast away. And Sombra and Chrysalis were not in the affects of the potion anymore during his rain and were kept away from eachother. Sombra could have become corrupt over the anger of losing his kingdom that he started studying black magic to take it back over even after Discord was gone. Same thing with Queen Chrysalis.

 

And a theory with is that Discord is Star Swirl the bearded because he can bend time and go through time and what not. And because of the magic that Star Swirl the Bearded had studied maybe he had accidentally changed himself in the a creature of multiple animal part. Plus whenever he does magic it always has swirls and stars and then he has the same beard as Star Swirl the bearded.

 

Also the same voice actor for Discord is going to be in season 3 so maybe they might explain things or give some intel

 

These are just theories I have gathered up and tried to put together since my friend started talking to me about it and it seems possible but I would like to know what you guy think.

Intresting theory, but I think It would ruin Sombras personality. He too badass to be in love. I want him to appear again ofcourse. He the best Stallion.

well sombra  isn't a pony he is a umbrum a shadow that take a pony like form and that why he doesn't has a cutie mark
