The Changelings are Huns.

I think I pretty much only thought of this last night. In my headcanon, I see the Changelings as a kind of Far East people like the Japanese, but I just thought of something:

 

 

A viewer/reader's knowledge of the Changelings is limited, but let's look at what we've got:

 

*They're obviously a warrior species bent on attacking, conquering or just pillaging cities, villages and entire kingdoms for their own needs.

*Although not outright confirmed, they appear to be nomadic. We do not yet know if there IS a Changeling homeland as such, so for the time being they appear to be nomads.

 

These guys are reminding me of the Huns!

 

I'm just starting to think of the Huns when I think of them, when usually my headcanon of the Changelings is of Imperial Japan (though I've probably played too much Call of Duty).
