We have been through so much together

Together we learned of the magic of friendship

Together we learned more then we could ever imagine to learn.

 

It’s been such a wonderful journey

-Twilight, lowered head, closed eyes, tears-

Together with you.

 

We’ve gone up against a darkened Princess of the Night

-Twilight standing straight next to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash-

And I first learned about the magic of the thing called friendship.

-Nightmare Moon laughing-

 

And then…we went up against a mischievous spirit of chaos and disharmony.

-Twilight standing beside Applejack and Fluttershy-

And I almost lost you, my best friends.

-Discord laughing-

 

And then we had to stand up to an evil Queen of the Changelings

-Twilight next to Rarity-

And we learned this time, of the magic of love

-Chrysalis laughing-

 

And then it was a cruel and malicious king we stood against.

-Twilight and the mane six standing strong together-

And this time…I learned of sacrifice.

-King Sombra laughing-

 

And that’s when I found my destiny…

-Twilight as an alicorn-

As an alicorn princess.

 

And you helped me find this destiny.

-Twilight smiling with tears in her eyes.

It’s because of you that I’m who I am.

 

And then of course…so much more

-Rarity seeing her new dress they made her-

-Fluttershy with Discord-

-Pinkie Pie at her birthday party-

-Applejack smiling as she walks away from her non-winner ribbons-

-Rainbow Dash and Spitfire with Rainbow in her training outfit-

-All of the mane six hugging-

 

We’ve all found our way.

-Rainbow Dash in wonderbolts suit-

And accomplished so much.

-Rarity selling a dress-

 

My journey with you is over

-Twilight crying-

But my journey isn’t over yet

 

I won’t let this stop me.

-Twilight opening her eyes and stops crying-

I’ll keep on moving forward, for you

-Twilight wiping tears away-

 

Princess Celestia once told me

-Twilight smiling up into sky again-

What’s the point of living, if you can’t be alive?

And so I’ll meet new ponies.

And they’ll go.

But I’ll remember them.

 

I’ll remember you the most

-Twilight stands up-

Even if you can’t spend the rest of this journey with me.

 

You’ll always be in my heart

-Shooting star goes across sky, Twilight closed eyes-
