Pony Club Night

So I attend my university's animation society, which is pretty popular, and there's a hefty number of bronies there. The society is pretty strongly linked to 8Bit Ice Cream, a local geeky club night. So it was only a matter of time before ponies hit the scene!

Glow-in-the-dark Rainbow Dash face paint? A group of people to hang out with IRL who all love ponies as much as you do?

And a DJ who uses DSi's as his turntable? That looks like it must have been one of the greatest accidental brony parties ever. Just out of curiousity, was there anyone there who hated ponies? They must've felt very outnumbered, if the cheering before Winter Wrap Up is anything to go by.

It's pretty awesome

 

There's always haters for anything that comes up - the various animes, shows, video games etc, but generally the spirits are so good that people are still up dancing and cheering even when it's something they hate playing

 

Plus, the worst we really get from the pony haters is sarcastic comments and eye rolls, we can deal with that.

This needs to happen at every club.

 

jk. I wonder if the fandom will grow so much that Pony music like this is expected at college clubs and places like that. I mean, if someone takes one of the songs and just rams a bass track into people's skulls, they'll probably like it... I hope to see more of this!

 

And, I wasn't really kidding that much.
