hay everypony! So I had this Idea, We have Downtime derpy for reddit (like anyone uses reddit) we have ponify for the general internet and lastly ponyhoof for facebook
 
but what about a logo replacer for other sites such as
 
http://www.cnn.com (communist news network) - (Pony News Network)

 
http://www.netflix.com (Netflix) - (Hooflix)

 
http://www.ebay.com (Ebay) -(Enay)

 
http://www.wikipedia.org/ (wikipedia) - (wikiponia)

 
If You guys have any site Ideas to add to the extension feel free to ask!

how to install 
download the latest version here!: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/24876612/MLPSiteImageReplacer.crx
right click and save link as , save to the desktop then paste chrome://extensions/ into the url bar and drag it from the desktop into the browser
 
notes: MLP Site Image Replacer will ignore HTTPS links because of security
 
How to actually type these addresses
 

 

open run (hold windows key and R)

C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc

open hosts file in notepad (as administrator)

you will see 

127.0.0.1 localhost

paste this under it

157.166.226.25 www.pnn.com

54.214.11.135 www.hooflix.com

 

should look like 

127.0.0.1 localhost

157.166.226.25 www.pnn.com

54.214.11.135 www.hooflix.com

 

save,

 

to go to the sites as their new domain, you have to enter wwww. before the address

note: someone already registered the address www.enay.com to go to www.ebay.com

also if you use pnn.com (poker network norway) you might not add that line or simply change it.

Perhaps you've thought of this, but maybe you could upload it to the chrome web store.  I'm not sure how that works.  Also, maybe change Twitter to Squee or something like that.  Hotmail to Trotmail.

I could make one for youtube but what would we call it, oh and ziero those are great ideas and I might add it to the store soon but not till I get a few more sites made and I make a better logo
