So uh. Hey and stuff. Relatively new brony here, just started season 3, think Applejack is best pony. I've poked around a few fanfics and stuff, but I'm still exploring.

 

I was a little hesitant to get engaged in the fandom since most of my experience is with bronies revolves around people who have pony avatars, say 'anypony' and '20% cooler' constantly, you know the type. I'm not like that, I have many interests, and the show's just one of them. Hopefully, you don't need to be totally obsessed to hang out here.

 

Not really sure what else to say. Lately I've had some problems with depression and the show's helped me with that. Nothing like cute ponies to brighten a day. As you can tell from my avatar, I'm used to watching Breaking Bad and other relatively dark stuff, so MLP is a nice change of pace. My fondness of children's shows isn't anything new though, I've been a VeggieTales fan a lot longer than a brony.

 

RE: talents - I'm a semi-decent pianist (Grade 8 RCM, can sight-read most stuff you throw at me). I've written lots of stuff for school and other thingies, and would like to try my hand at a fanfic sometime. I also have a fair amount of experience proofreading and editing, feel free to send me your fic and I'll check for spelling, grammar, flow, consistency, etc. Never tried role-playing, but I'm open to it.
