Phoenix237 353 April 2, 2013 Share April 2, 2013 (If this does not belong here can someone move it please. I appreciate it) Okay it's not about bullying problems, or problems I have had with the fandom. The problem I have (and I think other have had this) is in my school year The problem is with my major I am a freshman in university. I went there immediately after High School I went in with a major in mind So far I HATE it. I didn't like it as much as I thought and now I'm stuck I want to change majors, but I don't know what I have talked to my advisor and taken her tips. I have taken test to see what I may be interested in. Yet for some reason nothing click. I know I'm a Freashman and still have some time, but I don't want to waste my time persuing a degree I don't want or hate Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do in this situation or any tips Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
Coffee Cream 74 April 2, 2013 Share April 2, 2013 I know that at least at my university you're able to take a year off to decide what you would like to do. You don't necessarily drop your major but it gives you time to figure out if you want to keep that major or switch to another one. Your academic advisor should be able to help you out with that. I'm not sure if your university does the same thing since all universities are different.
Phaeston-e12 173 April 2, 2013 Share April 2, 2013 A lot of freshmen decides to go undecided for their first couple years to figure out what they want to learn. You still have a long way to go before you graduate. If tuition is too much for your economic burden, I highly suggest you instead take some time off and enroll a community college. Atmosphere tend to be far more relaxed and usually more teacher-to-teacher interaction happens and there's more freedom to choose what kind of course you want to take. To be honest, I don't really understand the obsession people have with trying to go straight into four year colleges. Most kids have little idea about what they want to do with their life and far more often I see my colleagues bemoaning about the amount of money they've dropped into getting their education without getting anywhere in their life after they graduate. Fluffy Pinkie 417 April 2, 2013 Share April 2, 2013 If money is becoming a problem i'd say take some time off, and try to "Find Yourself" as a freshman you still have time to decide what you want to do. First i'd say see if their's any career's within your job circle that seem to iinterest you if not, Then try to find something that interest's you and try to work on it. You still have time so relax and just try to find something that makes you happy and that you could see yourself doing for a long time in the future. I'm a very friendly person and i always try to be there for people and make them smile no matter how long and how hard i have to try so when anyone's feeling down send me PM, Nothing makes me happier then being there for someone This is my OC, http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/rolling-thunder-r2250 This is my Mare OC looks like my profile pic http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/flower-dust-r3660
