One game that I don't remember hearing a lot about was Jet Set Radio Future. A lot of people enjoyed Jet Grind Radio more but unfortunately I never experienced it. I gotta say, I LOVE the Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack and the gameplay was pretty sweet, although sometimes the controls bugged me.

I think mine is being over-protective of people I care about, although it isn't too bad of a trait and can be flattering in situations (like with my boyfriend). For example, my best friend of 15 years started going out with this guy who has a sketchy history and ended up falling in love with him. He said to her he changed but I refused to believe it. They've been together for almost 10 months now and what he said still holds true. Being overprotective can give you a really closed mind, but I think it's also a form of affection.

I think that video games are fantastic! I heard on the news that gaming actually improves a person's logic by initiating problem-solving skills in game. I also heard on the news that gaming actually improves hand dexterity by how you manoever the controls. My main passion with video games is that it allows you to immerse yourself into someone else's story. It's like starring in a movie! The only downfall to video games that I can find is if you become addicted to them and if that addiction draws you away from the real world. Other than that, I am definitely pro-gaming!

I find that not all music nowadays is bad. You just have to find the right artist that suits your musical taste. I like a wide variety of music genres and I dislike just as many genres if not more. What I find is that there's a big difference between what kind of music is mainstream now as opposed to what was mainstream back then. I'll give you an example of two current songs that could make you lose all faith in the music industry and then feel like the music industry was "saved." But either way these sorts of artists exist, and you just have to choose what you think is good to listen to: It's cool if you're into this song ^ but it's not my style. This song is more my style, you may not like it, but I do. We're all entitled to our opinions, you just have to find the thing that gets your favourable opinion.

Oh okay gotcha. I don't mean to frighten you, but if he doesn't get help he could end up really hurting himself, especially if the voices tell him to. I just finished my mental health rotation for my nursing program and I can't count how many people I've run into that have heard voices and tried to kill themselves. If you're interested in looking into it a bit more, there's this book called "The Day the Voices Stopped" by Ken Steele and it takes you right into the mind of someone experiencing auditory hallucinations (in this case, the person in the book was schizophrenic).

Has he been hearing these "voices" all his life? Are there several voices? Has he had any visual hallucinations or are they just auditory hallucinations? Hallucinations can come from a variety of things including medicine being taken or potentially schizophrenia. It can start at a very young age. I recently read a story about a man battling schizophrenia from the age of 14-present, but fortunately the medical system has antipsychotic medication to reduce and even potentially eliminate the hallucinations. Either way, I'm sure your friend will be fine especially if he finds the appropriate help for his issue

I agree with Count Bleck. I do believe in supernatural phenomenon but not necessarily the ghosts that go out of their way to scare you. From personal experience, I've actually lived in a couple of haunted houses. The only one that I remember though was when I was 6 years old. I would look at my window at night time and see a shadow figure in the window with what looked like a detective's hat on it's head and a trenchcoat. Just from the torso and up I would see it. Before we moved, my parents were cleaning out the basement and found a secret room that stored alcohol. We're thinking it was a house used for alcohol distribution during the prohibition days. Pretty cool having that sort of history in your own home. According to my parents, the house we lived in beforehand had a poltergeist and my mom would feel pressure on her bed as if someone was sitting there but yet no one was there. You could actually see where the pressure was from the sheets. It would be more accurate if it were from my own personal experience, but I was just a baby so I can't remember. On the subject of the paranormal, does anyone believe in guardian angels? Also, do you believe that your relatives that have passed on actually visit you in dreams when you do dream about them? My mom and I have had a couple experiences of my grandfather visiting us in dreams, telling us he misses us and telling us about what decisions would be appropriate to make in the future.

If they eat fish, eggs, and milk they are considered Pescatarian which is one of the more relaxed forms of vegetarianism. Pescatarians are sometimes not considered to be real vegetarians because they accept the consumption of fish. @Flying Space Badger I'm assuming the OP is discussing more along the lines of lacto-ovo vegetarianism (minus the lacto) and/or veganism. Lacto-ovo vegetarians refrain from eating all meats but will have dairy and eggs. Vegans eat strictly vegetables.

Although you can find supplements to give you the nutrients you can get in meat, nothing beats getting it naturally. Why consume a capsule with the iron you need when you can get it naturally? Argument #3: I will give you that. However, stem cells from animals have been used to research cures for diseases, which is pretty darn cool. Also, in moderation, meat will help you to have a balanced diet whereas a vegetarian diet can have several nutritional deficiencies where you would need to supplement your nutrition. Argument #4: As previously stated, eating meat does have some nutritional benefits when used in moderation. If you don't need supplements and can get your nutrients naturally, why not? Argument #5: There are methods that farmers have created to make their deaths as painless as possible by making their death instant by their strategy of killing. If you go into the wilderness and see a pack of wolves feeding off of a deer would you tell the wolves to stop eating the deer because it's in pain? It's inevitable. There'a reason that the humans are at the top of the food chain. It's the way we've evolved. It's from us doing what we do to survive and thrive. We didn't get to the top of the food chain without killing off other species. No matter what you do, that's just how it is. I actually want to hear your opinions towards "Do not recuscitate" policies in hospitals interesting to hear from a perspective other than a nursing student's. Argument #6: As previously stated, meat and alternatives provide natural, good nutrients to the body in moderation. It's not immoral, it's nature, and it's not going to change. Argument #7: Of course there's lots of cruelty in the world. Just look at what happened in Boston this past week (thoughts and prayers with them, I could only imagine what living in that city is like right now). Eating meat is a practice that has been done for the thousands of years that humans have been inhabiting the Earth. If a bear attacks a human, will you get angry at the bear for being cruel to the human? Or would you argue that the bear is protecting it's territory even if the human didn't want to invade it. Food for thought really, food for thought (see what I did there?) I don't mean to sound rude, but I really hate it when people try to force their opinions on others and try to sway them when they don't wish to be swayed. You're vegetarian? That's great! Good for you! But don't try to force it onto people who enjoy their meat-eating lifestyles without significant evidence and an open-minded demeanour because your demeanour sounds closed-minded and forceful. Maybe try an approach that shows the pros of being a vegetarian while respecting those who still wish to eat meat. It's the basis of being a health educator's job to respect the opinions of others while providing relevant information that could potentially sway their opinions. It doesn't have to necessarily sway their opinions, but at least they'll be informed of their options.

"Make that two of us." Twister said with a start. "I hardly ever come down to ground level so everything's like new to me here." She turned to Phil, "so you were sent to protect us, eh? Never thought I would ever need that much protection in my lifetime. Let's go!" She went to quickstep towards the door, but she accidentally ran out the door and within two seconds, she was already in the middle of the market again. She walked back to the door where Goldseek and Phil were and sheepishly said, "sorry, still trying to get this whole speed business under control. It's like living in fast-forward!"

Twister tilted her head to the side as she read the location on the memo sheet. Cottage eh? Well then I guess I'll just slip out of here and... She was stopped by another pony chewing on a piece of licorice. "Hey lady, you're Twister right? If you're tryin to be inconspicuous, you're doin a terrible job." Twister scratched the back of her head with her front hoof and said, "acting inconspicuous...what ever do you mean?" She shifted her eyes back and forth then made eye contact with this pony. "And how do you know my name?"

Twister looked down and saw the colt with the cyan coloured mane enter Sugarcube corner. She had to do a double take to realize he had a scimitar at his side. That's odd... As she leaned forward, she lost her balance and plummeted towards the ground below, landing on her face. "ughh" she groaned as she stood up. I've gotta follow him...he could be one of us! Twister tried to casually shake off her fall as if nothing happened and entered Sugarcube corner. She pretended to look at some cupcakes in the showcase while she listened carefully for anything strange. She couldn't explain the feeling she had...some sort of premonition that this pony had to be part of this new "power clan." Does this make me a stalker? Or am I doing the right thing? Only one way to find out... She continued to watch the colt going about his business but tried to remain inconspicuous.

Twister looked at the ponies around her. Hmm... nothing quite that noticeable. Maybe if I get to a better vantage point? She flapped her wings and soared up into the sky. Within a second she was about 600 metres above Ponyville! Oh man...I've gotta learn how to get these things under control. With that, she flapped her wings as gently as she could and she began flying quickly towards the Ponyville market. She landed but the force with which she landed was causing her to skid...right towards Applejack's apple stand! With all of her might she thrusted all four of her hooves in front of her and halted just inches away from the stand. Applejack gave her a curious look. "Listen, if yer that excited to buy some apples perhaps I can make ya a deal..." "Oh, n-no thank you!" Twister said as she staggered backwards towards the center of the market. She looked around once more. If only I could look around from the top of a building without looking conspicuous... She looked up and saw that she could potentially sneak a peek from behind the smaller part of the roof of Sugarcube corner. She slowly tip-toed behind the building and put a hoof to the wall. If I try to fly up...I may go too high. But I don't think I can climb with my hooves. Then again, maybe this speed I have will effect my hooves too? She braced her leg muscles for climbing. With a start, she darted up the wall and before she knew it, she was on the roof of Sucarcube corner, overlooking the market.

She tried again except this time she flapped her wings to go downward and she began soaring down towards the Earth. She pulled out of a nose dive just above the trees of the Everfree forest. This speed...this must be it! Since she was so close to Ponyville at the time, she decided to begin her search for the others there. She gave her wings a flap and she went soaring towards Ponyville and stopped herself in front of the town hall. Where's the most common place for people to be in this town? She wondered. She looked around to see if anypony was acting strange at all...
