Need Opinions

First off, sorry if I'm doing this wrong, I'm not one who creates threads often (or ever)

My friend (Scoutt236/Ask Carpenter Bloom) draws ponies in his own unique style (Like in my profile pic)and is trying a new Eye style. He wants to know if the eyes seem too bizarre or gothic to others.

Overall I think it is fine.   My one point of criticism is that there are no visible arms in the image which is subconsciously disconcerting.

For me it's really wierd because it looks like her pupil and iris are swapped. But that's what makes his art unique, and if he likes it then it's fine.

I like his new style of eyes, but I do not like the fact that the glare of the eyes are exactly matching. Other than that I really like his new style of eyes.

The Iris/Pupil inversion was actually what he was going for,something unique and different from other artists, I'm talking to him on skype right now actually.
