Writing Tips Needed!

I am opening a commision thread with me writing stories. I need to ask for some writing tips for stories. I have basic knowledge of writing but I need help with..

•Capturing a character's personality

•And having this affect their decisons

I also wanted to ask..

 

I am going to be doing them for $5 per paragraph. Is this a fair price? Or No?

What you are asking for, is actually the basis for all good writing. Also, $5 per paragraph is very, very high. I write college papers for extra cash, and I rarely charge over 1c per word. Character development is the backbone for all stories; IE: take Peter Griffin out of Family Guy. Once your character is developed, it is easy to place them in a situation and 'watch', how that situation plays out.
