My first song like the sun - tribute to celestia

Hello everypony,

 

here are my first brony song (a tribute to celestia)   hope that you like it

 

 

 

i m open for some critique or opinions

Always liked stuff with vocals.  I don't know, instrumentals just never seemed full enough.  But back on track, this is pretty good for a first brony song.  The only thing I would say that it lacks in is a consistent background instrument.  It seems as though it could use a constant instrument featured every now and then besides a bunch of fades in and out from the same sound.  But that might just be my own opinion.  Good job with vocals.

Ah, I like your voice! Let's get started on the critique, shall we?

 

The treble parts of the song are pretty good, I must say. It's a trance song, I presume?

 

The kick on the song could be improved. A harder kick would compensate for the lack of bass in the song.

 

I think the beginning part could use some more instruments. A awkward pause that's too long can be, well. Awkward. You can start with maybe more different synths, but I suggest maybe have a more dramatic buildup of a fading in treble pad (high note pads) and then heavier bass kick at the moment of the "drop," and you could go for the drop you currently have as the "second drop." But let's see how you'll do it. It's your song, after all, and I'm an orchestral musician, I'm not too familiar with trance.
