How can I make the relationship between Twilight and Chrysalis interesting

I'm writing a series of fan fictions that is kind of super hero-ie. I was going to make Chrysalis the most powerful being in Equestria. Chrysalis gets a hold of ancient artifacts that pre date Celestia and Luna. Chrysalis becomes a goddess with an insane amount of power.

 

Twilight isn't outmatched though. i was going to write Twilight as a goddess chosen by other goddesses. Equestria obviously has goddesses that pre date Celestia. Twilight as an alicorn has learned to harness her maximum potential.

 

I was going to have the two fight because Twilight was in a mode of rage and lost control when Luna was killed by Chrysalis and Celestia was damaged beyond belief. Chrysalis escapes to another dimension and Twilight fails to prevent her from escaping.

 

The two have their climatic showdown and Chrysalis offers Twilight a role to be her knight. She refuses and Chrysalis tries to take her life. Twilight gets thrown around like a rag doll and Chrysalis beats Twilight down to her knees. Obviously Twilight will win. Basically during their figt Chrysalis just brags about how she will drain Equestria of all it's love and become more powerful. She also said she will grant Twilight a quick death, which she said would be better than to returning to ponyville as a failure 

 

I am doing something like this so Twilight can push herself past her limits. Also in my fan fiction super rainbow dash is canon. Even super rainbow can't beat chrysalis

Turns out Chrysalis did reconnaissance on Canterlot by posing as Cadence when she was younger as well, when she was Twilight's foal sitter.
