TheMarkz0ne 962 May 6, 2013 Share May 6, 2013 I will type my post in a bit. i have to take a shower first. So you guys kick the conversation off. But...Pre Alicorn Twilight will destroy Harry. Alicorn Twilight season 4 and beyond would have no effort in decimating Harry
Nohbdy 4,108 May 6, 2013 Share May 6, 2013 I'll just drop a few stats and feats for each side. Feel free to correct or add to these. When it comes to raw power, Twilight Sparkle has the advantage. Twilight can survive a piano falling on her (Feeling Pinkie Keen), levitate several tons ("Boast Busters," "The Mysterious Mare Do Well"), and manipulate gravity ("The Crystal Empire - Part 2"). She can also time travel for a limited duration ("It's About Time"), teleport (various occasions, usually when the plot calls for it), and produce certain mind-control spells such as Want It, Need It ("Lesson Zero"). She can fire lasers ("A Canterlot Wedding - Part 2") and create shields ("Ponyville Confidential"). Twilight also doesn't need a wand to do magic, and, being a pony, can run faster than a human. She's inexperienced in battle, however, and has consistently shown weakness under pressure. As for Twilicorn, we haven't seen enough of her to get an idea of how strong her powers are. Logically, we can assume she's stronger, but to what extent remains to be seen. Harry Potter is more versatile than Twilight. He has, at his disposal, a variety of spells suited for any task. He can teleport, summon, and levitate. He also has strong mental barriers that can prove useful if Twilight tries to use a mind spell on him (conversely, Twilight not only lacks the mental training, but she has consistently demonstrated a tendency to crack under pressure, thus putting her at risk of Harry's own mind spells). Harry has, as of the seventh book, made use of several Unforgivable Curses, including the Imperius (mind control) and Cruciatus (torture) spells. Twilight is weak to both of these. Even if he doesn't use these spells, Harry can resort to weaker, but equally viable options. He is highly experienced in using the Stunning and Impediment spells, and has used both to great effect during the war against Voldemort. Harry can also perform spells more easily and quickly. Whereas Twilight usually makes a visible effort in peforming more powerful spells, Harry requires only a thought and a wand. The wand is his weakness, however, as his magical ability is significantly reduced without it. Now, as both a brony and a Twilight fan, I naturally want Twilight to win. However, a competent Harry Potter is a very scary thing, and should never be underestimated. Personally, though, I'd like to see them get together with their friends and discuss magic over coffee. I'm sure Twilight would love to talk to Hermione
TheMarkz0ne 962 May 6, 2013 Author Share May 6, 2013 I think Twilight wouldn't have to try. We as humans are physically strong. But most animals have more physicality and durability than us. Horses in the real world actually do. Twilight can just channel the magic into her back hooves and teleport and buck Harry in the face. I don't think Harry would survive that
