~Scootaloo 440 May 6, 2013 Share May 6, 2013 I am doing an audio replacement project for a video game character from Team Fortress 2. You may be familiar with an MLP character known as Scootaloo (also my username here...) she is a filly (a younger pony) and she is loud and she also sounds a bit like Rainbow Dash and has a bit of Toy Boy thing going on too. In short what I'd basically like to do is replace the Scout's lines (from TF2) with fan made Scootaloo lines. It is important to note that there a lot of lines that you'll be doing if you choose to take this on (or want to do it). Of course I'll be giving credit to you when we finish. Here is a small video I made to give you an idea of what she sounds like: If you need more sample material tell me. What to say in your audition/sample: a. Need some help here! b. Let's go (x3) c. Yes/Ya/Gotcha d. No/nope/nah e. [something you'd say if you were on fire (literally)] example Feel free to change little things if you want to. Details that are not crucial, but are helpful to know: In Team Fortress 2 each character has various lines that they either say on there own or when you use a voice command. For the Scout (the lines that these are for) has 400+ audio files that are used for only him. These audio files each fall under a different category: -Pain lines (sounds that are played when you are taking damage) -Contextually triggered lines (sounds that are played when the game detects a set of circumstance(s) (for example: if the Scout is on fire he'll begin to yell "fire! fire! fire!")) -Various others Note: Look I know this is an ambitious project, but with the right pairing I think it can be done. Rules: *Scootaloo is a female, but if you are a male and have a voice that sounds close enough to hers than feel free to try and submit. *Make sure you have a clear microphone and no background noise. *Sounds must be in .wav format *Provide at least 4 or 5 samples *Send submissions to: ScootalooFluttershy@gmail.com (not the most original email, but it works ) or you can post in this thread with a link to your audition. If you'd like to add me on Skype to discuss this my username there is scootaloofluttershy (tell me you are contacting me about the audition so I know where you are from). Deadline: For the project itself?no not really. For the audition/sample?May 11 (that is the max). I think that is acceptable for just a sample, but I could be wrong.
