Cloud Nova 26 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 so I wanna make a PMV for this. Any ideas on how i should go about doing this, I just need some basic concepts of what the PMV might be about.
Manauser 153 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 (edited) IDK much about PMVs but if I had to say anything at the start of the song it should me like fading in and out of character faces or something dramatic and then once the piano start it should go to a high mountain maybe canterlot then then at 0:50 or 0:51 it should zoom in to canterlot or a specific part and show a character#1 with a situation. Once you hit 1:12 something makes the situation worse whether it is an enemy or something growing stronger. (Like a "Sheet just got real!" quote) then at 1:28 some other outside source shows some sort of challenge to the situation/problem. Then just before 1:48 something need to happen to character#1 where was slowly zoom in as if the character is majorly hurt. The pony is fine after it lies there for a few moments until 2:00 then the character should stand up. Make some small gesture or something then somehow the 3 party that was originally attacking the evil gets the advantage banishing the evil and then we slowly zoom out of canterlot in a state of harmony. (please note I have no knack for making things like this but when I do I see it so I am not a professional in any way shape or form. hope this helps ) Edited May 17, 2013 by Manauser
Stellafera 3,836 May 17, 2013 Share May 17, 2013 Giving you concepts for a PMV is like coming up with characters, setting, and a plotline, then handing the story over to somebody else to write. PMVs in my opinion are works of inspiration; I see what you're asking about to be backwards. I mean, maybe some people do it that way, but for me, if I don't have the concept myself, what's the point?
