Random Trivia to pass time

I like to learn stuff, especially stuff about people that I never knew they could do more than what the media showed of them.

For example, remember Bob Ross?  From The Joy of Painting?  Yeah, he passed away and he was such a nice guy, teaching you to paint while never giving you the impression that he was an egotistical know-it-all art critic.

Turns out he was a Sergeant of the Army for over 20 years.  He had enough of having to be mean to cadets and then went to the Alaskan wilderness to start painting, by himself, with tools that he used to survive in the wild no less.

Ever seen The Reservoir Dogs?  That movie that Quentin Tarantino did of bank robbers with colorful names? Well Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) helped in the 9/11 rescue team among Firefighters because he acted roles of said professions and learned to be a full fledged Firefighter himself.  He then went to a station and followed with a suit and all to help out during the tragedy.  He shoveled debris and rescued people for over 12 hours straight.

Speaking of such, Batman's voice actor from the 90s cartoon up to Justice League Unlimited (along some other Batprojects), Kevin Conroy also helped in that tragedy, by volunteering as a cook in a kitchen providing for victims.

Harrison Ford pilots a helicopter and once or twice saved people in the middle of nowhere.  He is indeed Indiana Jones and Han Solo  in reality.

There are some more, but I think I had said enough.
