XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 777 June 8, 2013 Share June 8, 2013 (edited) You've done a fine job, especially since this is the first time you've used this medium. Charcoal is technically easier than pencil I've found, not to mention you can get a WIDE arrange of values with charcoal alone. It's a bit smudgy here and there but Charcoal likes to be that way If you're planning to use charcoal s'more (and if you're not using it already) look into trying a kneaded eraser. It's fantastic for absorbing charcoal and you can mold it into any shape you need to. It has another use after it doesn't absorb charcoal/graphite as well as it used to and makes more marks than absorb. Its great for making light values because you can lightly apply some of the absorbed charcoal back to the paper itself. Dual purposed eraser you say? Don't mind if I do! bcd34a 51 June 9, 2013 Share June 9, 2013 Looks nice! If you will plan to colour it in the future then I'd sure be even more happy. Really nice drawing! 10/10 all good. No flaws. (so far)
