Midnight Dragon 264 June 16, 2013 Share June 16, 2013 I like to use Audacity to make music and such sound creepy. However, there are edits I've heard that include effects that I can't seem to recreate (look up "luna game soundtrack" on YouTube for some great examples). Are there any free audio editing programs that have some good tools for making creepy voices and such? http://youtube.com/user/AuroraKnuxhttp://visigoth101.deviantart.comhttp://auroraknux.tumblr.com
Espy Vibe 4,280 July 5, 2023 Share July 5, 2023 I'm not sure what was available at the time (and maybe you figured it out by now, not sure) but you'd have to do some sort of mixture of timestretching, reversing, and pitch shifting, which I'm pretty sure any program could do even back then. Bitcrushing with a bandpass filter, throwing something through a reverb and then reverse that, then add another reverb on top of that and reverse it back. Stuff like that would work too. Though honestly nowadays and IMO, the free Airwindows PitchDelay plugin is a pretty clean way of doing things. Highly recommended.
