Counter-Arguments against haters

I just thought i would put up a thread for counter-arguments against what the haters have to say.

(try not to judge me for starting this thread, i'm partially venting)

(Feel free to add more counter-arguments)

Some people say the reason why bronies, more than any other fandom are receiving so much hate from the communities is because we are trying to force our fandom into everyone they meet. Well, this is where i find fault with this argument. It is true, some bronies are indeed for this caliber, in fact there is one who is in my school who does this to me and others around him. But here is a comparison.

A lot of us will agree that acts of terror caused by religious fanatics are bad. Indeed. They disrupt lives, damage property among other things. but they are just part of a religion. It is their interpretation of their beliefs that drive them to do these things. Do i see this as a bad thing? Yes and No. Yes in the sense they are hurting other people in their crusade to spread their beliefs. No in the sense that this zealous nature actually shows the dedication many people have to their cause.

But does the exsistence of such zealots mean we should shun or hate every religious person when news of another attack takes place? No, that's dumb and unfair, as we know they had nothing to do with it. As such, why apply such logic to bronies? I'm sure we have a lot more zealous people than any other fandom, but does that qualify for additional mistreatment of everyone else who follows this belief?

As for other bronies, don't join in and think of these people as outcasts, who bring trouble. Think of them as a sign that this fandom is strong, and will stand the test of time. After all, you must have very dedicated people, in order to breed zealots.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to use this as you see fit. No need to reference me.
