The fall of Equestria

Lets just say that Equestria is in a dark age. The mane six are dead. Celestia and Luna have little power over the ponys. And with no control over the elements the crystal empire is taken by king sombra Discord was not actually reformed but is weakened and can only terrorize cities and towns one by one removing curses once he has left the city. The kingdom of dragons south of Equestria threaten to attack. So do the griffons of the east. In these times of sorrow how does Equestria crumble? 

 

 

I'd say Luna and Celestia both leave to escape the horror of seeing Equestria crumble apart. Soon with no defence or government Discord gains power and torchers everypony and the dragon and griffon army's attacks force every pony to leave the land. the crystal ponies can't leave because of king sombra.
