I'm really torn. this figure is amazing and has the lightup base but the cheep side of me wants to wait and see what the funko DJ Pon3 will look like... but if I do that I'm sure this one will be gone. decisions decisions...

Considering I've seen these go for no less than $100 and up on eBay, I'd say $50 is a steal, so I gladly ordered mine.

 

I'll still be getting the Funko one when it comes out, but I wanted this one partially for the joy of having (what I believe is) an important and really cool piece of MLP merch, and partially because it's shiny~~

Yeah, it isn't cheap that's for sure. Is it worth the price though? When lit up, and putting on your favorite wubs...yes.

It was $54. Technically they were $50 but for expediency they asked $54 to cover CA sales tax.

The Funko line is THE best collector MLP line. I don't know if you have seen it yet but I have a pic of the prototype of their DJ PON3:

 

 

Funko's will probably be the best, yet the Hasbro one is more of the prestige piece. Plus, it kind of broke ground being a Hasbro produced molded mane fig (not including the minis).

I expect it to arrive in a week or so as I picked the cheapest (slowest) shipping date. I ordered it a few days ago so shouldn't be long now. I'd be happy to do a review once it gets here.

The Funko one is sure to be amazing, plus she gets to be with her best pal, Octavia.

 

The Hasbro one does indeed carry the prestige though. Being one of the very first Hasbro-produced toys made specifically for the adult fans makes it also something of a milestone piece in the brony fandom as a whole, and as a collectors' item that makes her very appealing and a lovely "crown jewel" to one's pony collection~
