Hmmmmmmmmm, story help and advice.

Breaking news!! I'm actually going to try to write a series with my own main eight  (two are tuplas) stuck between the human world and pony universe. All start off in 7-9 grade. Various ages, different personalities. I don't no what to call it yet. It's still in the planning stages. I'm daunted by the task though. I usually only write short stories, not whole series by myself. Any advice or tips?

For one thing I recommend learning about HiE Cliches and using words in a variety, as well as working towards character development, it's also noted that you should get a proof reader or get a co writer to go over your chapters to fix and add things to it,
