Melior 52 August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 I don't know anything specifically relating to digital drawing but I started out by watching Mark Crilley. He draws in an anime kind of style but has some more general art tip videos. Two tips of my own is to use guidelines (like make objects out of geometric shapes ex. head is a circle that extends to a jaw, chest is a rectangle) and to draw often (with reference if it helps you; it helped me). I hope I've mentioned something useful. Good luck with your drawing. If you really like drawing don't give up. Also this page is useful if you want to know colour theory (which colours go best with which). If you're up for it this is a much more extensive look into colour theory.
Cheesypuff202 13 August 31, 2013 Share August 31, 2013 Just start drawing, anything you see that you like, draw it. The easiest way to become more experienced and better at drawing is to simply draw. Maybe find some other artists and look at some of their work for inspiration or find some little tricks or the internet that you think you could use in your own drawings to improve them and also enjoy drawing, that's the most important rule, as if you're not enjoying what you are doing it is pointless as you will never do your best if you aren't enjoying it. Most artists have their own style that they use consistently in their work and eventually you will find your own style and that is when you will start to produce some truly original pieces but until then you can imitate other artist's styles. Good luck with drawing, it's one of my favourite things to do and I hope you enjoy it as well.
