Some Questions about the Roleplay Section

   Hey Everypony! I just wanted to ask some questions:

 

1. What exactly is the roleplaying forum section?

 

2. How can I start "roleplaying"?

 

3. Do you roleplay?

 

4. How active do I need to be on the forum?

 

I just got acess to the forums, so these were the questions I wanted most answered. If you don't know a answer to one, leave it blank and I'll assume you didn't know. Thank you for your time everypony!

It's a section for members to play characters who are different than themselves, and create a story. It can be adventurous, romantic, most anything really. I'd recommend looking around at some threads in the section for examples.

 

 

 

2. How can I start "roleplaying"?

 

I'd make an Original Character (a pony made by you), look around for roleplays that look interesting, and if one catches your eye, ask if you can be part of it in its OOC thread, which should be linked to in the first post of any roleplay. If the person running it is ok with you joining, then you're all ready to go

 

 

 

3. Do you roleplay?

 

Nope, though I am interested in trying it out one of these days.

 

 

 

4. How active do I need to be on the forum?

 

Some roleplays move faster than others. I can't really say, on average. Its just something you'll have to talk with the other people in your roleplay about.

 

If you have any other questions, keep asking. I did a pretty bad job explaining that and I'm sure I didn't hit everything.

Adding onto some of DF's input, you'll find the pinned threads in the OOC roleplay section to be quite helpful :3 I'd pretty much just look through all of them, so I won't link any in-particular, though there are a few basic ones such as a general roleplay guide, etc.
