Hello everypony! Any advice on getting started?

Two questions. What is a 'brohoof'(on this website, not in real life)? What is a signiture and how do I get one?

Welcome to the forums, Epeciamyoda. 

 

A brohoof is this site's name for a like/upvote on any other site. 

 

A signature is a graphic that appears beneath the bottom of your post.  Most people include their username and their favorite pony in it. 

 

And I would add two more tips to be successful here:  One, be yourself.  Two, be patient.  Nobody should feel the need to hide behind a facade or be a phony here.  You'll have much more fun if you don't.  And it took me a few months before the rest of the forum knew who I was.  Once they did, I noticed I was getting a lot more friends and feedback.

Welcome to the forums .

 

Wingnut pretty much covered all your questions I see. As for the actual "nitty gritty" of getting a signature I'd mosey on over to the Request Guild: http://mlpforums.com/forum/97-requests-guild/ and either start a topic there explaining your request or post in one of the many signature request "shops" (don't worry, they are free).

You can either type the "spoiler tag" on both sides of whatever you'd like to hide like so

[spoiler]Your text here[/spoiler]

Or you can select Spoiler from the list of Special BBCode from the 3rd icon on the top of your post window.

That menu will give you pretty much anything you'd ever need in terms of coding.

There are two signatures that peole have given me that I really like, I have noticed that some people's signatures say that they change automatically, how do I do this?
