Need help fixing a plushie.

Anypony here know how to fix a plushie?

 

Last night I was heading to bed and I found my Fluttershy plush sitting in the middle of the hallway....and I had found out my mom's dog ripped her tail off, tore part of the stitching on her wings and put teeth marks under her wing and somehow got dirt marks on her. I was   disheartened when I seen it...because it's a hand made plush, not some store bought thing.

 

My mom's dog is ALWAYS taking my plushies, usually my Derpy plush or my Fluttershy plush, out of my room and taking them god knows where....My mom just shrugs it off and thinks it's "cute" or funny. Not when the dog destroys stuff that's mine and means something to me....and the tails on most of these MLP plushies arn't that forgiving, as they're not held onto the body by much.

 

So, I want to get her fixed,but I don't know anyone that sews, and I don't have the money to pay a seamstress or whoever to fix her.I also don't know the first thing about sewing, so I'm looking for a few tips/how-tos on what to do.

 

 

Here's the extent of the  damage....probably not much I can do about the bite mark, as it's visible but not that big.
