My Doctor Whooves picture

Today (a couple of hours ago in fact) I decided that I was going to do my first pony fan picture this evening and post it here. I decided to do Doctor Whooves because he's my favorite fanon pony. I used a pony base from DeviantArt user Equine-Bases and then colored the base with all of Doctor Whooves' colors. I cut and pasted the mane, tail, cutie mark and collar and necktie from a separate picture of Doctor Whooves. The background is orange because orange is my favorite color. I made the whole thing in Microsoft Paint on Windows 7.
 
Being my first pony picture ever it's not the best but I did put a good bit of effort into it. It only took me about 15 minutes to make.

Looks Nice! Just as a personal preference I don't like the background color since the brown and orange don't look good together. But thats only me! ;D

Yea I agree with the background thing. Not very nice looking   

 

Anyways i think it looks pretty good. The snout is too mareish, not enough stallion. ANd because of the way his head, and where you put his tie, his head looks kinda weird. Also, the leg that he's raising looks a little short/small. Hope that helps at least a little

 

Side note: If you want you're drawings to look really good, spend more than 15 minutes on them

You did a pretty good job. My little brother standing beside me thought this was a younger version of Doctor Whooves. Either way it looks great.

It does kinda look like a younger Doctor Whooves... as to why I really can't place my finger on it. It's gotta be something with the facial layout or something but damned if I'm not too tired to realize what exactly.

 

Overall looks good though. (Possible without the orange background)
