"I hope you find what you're looking for!" Shouted his father from the living room of the humble estate.

 

 Astral called back "yep" and got to work on his new project. He decided to take things at a slow pace, not trying to rush though things and ruin it.  He reached down for a paint brush and open a can of a paint with his hoof. He dipped the brush into the can and then began to paint.

Glowing looked around and wandered out if the forest until he came to a house. It looked like a couple of ponies were inside. "Hmm, strange. And do I smell paint?" Asked Glowing, very curious. Staying hidden, he watched the house to see what would become of this small area.

Astral continued to pain making sure that each brush stroke was just right, and then putting it down. He looked to find some water in order to not mix the colors. Celestia knows how ugly it would look if they all get mixed together without it happening on purpose. So he decided to go into the kitchen to find a cup or something put some water into it.

Glowing got a little too curious. He headed to the back of the humble abode, and entered quietly. He liked painting and art, and wished to see, for himself, what was causing the smell of the paint. Sneaking past what seemed to be the father of the house, he sneaked to where the paint smell was coming from, and peered in,

Astral looked though the cupboards looking for a cup, until finding some that were high up. He sighed and tried his best to get up to it without making a lot of noise, and reached out to get it. Surprisingly enough he did this successfully, and then went to the sink to fill it up.

Glowing went in the room, since no one was there, and looked upon the canvas. Oh, what a beautiful canvas it was, indeed! Glowing was awestruck. He was in a trance from it, when he heard hooves heading his way. Thinking quickly, he his in a closet in the room, hoping no pony would notice him.

Glowing went in the room, since no one was there, and looked upon the canvas. Oh, what a beautiful canvas it was, indeed! Glowing was awestruck. He was in a trance from it, when he heard hooves heading his way. Thinking quickly, he his in a closet in the room, hoping no pony would notice him

  

Astral filled the cup and then went back to the art room, he picked up the brush he had laid and dunked it into the water. He moved it around a bit until the paint went into the water, and then dipped it into another color. He didn't seem to notice the other colt in the room or had idea that anypony else besides himself and his parents inside the house, so he continued to paint.

Astral filled the cup and then went back to the art room, he picked up the brush he had laid and dunked it into the water. He moved it around a bit until the paint went into the water, and then dipped it into another color. He didn't seem to notice the other colt in the room or had idea that anypony else besides himself and his parents inside the house, so he continued to paint.

 

Glowing remained absolutely still in his space of confinement. "Don't move..." He whispered, barely audible, even to himself. He peered from the cracks in the door to see a Colt working on the project. Slowly, he opened the door, and ever so gently walked backwards, as not to alert the Colt of his presence.

Astral was in a trans by painting, just making some brush strokes, dipping the brush into the water, dipping the brush into different color, and repeating this for a minutes. That is until he heard faint hoofsteps coming from inside the room at first he thought it was his farther checking up on, until he realized that they were similar to his hoofs made. "Howl is that you?" He asked looking around expecting to find the filly inside his house.

He stood in the spot still, finally speaking. "No.... I'm not Howl, whoever she is." Said Glowing, trembling in his place.

  

Astral looked at the scared colt in front him, he was a little shocked by it. Of course the part of his brain that was shocked was yelling out "What the hay is pony doing my house, is he some kind of thief or something!" He ignored it as usual. He was so used to part of his brain freaking out that it became regular thing for him, whether this a was good or bad thing he wasn't sure of yet. "She is a friend, so what is your business sneaking to my house, are you a thief or whatever?" He said as he went over to the door and closed it, trying to make sure he got some answers.

Glowing started to relax. Good old interrogation. He liked it. "I'm not a thief. I merely came here because I smelt paint, and I, appreciating the finer things in life, such as art, came to see what masterpiece was being created, which, by the way, is dazzling." Complimented Glowing.

"Wait! stay on topic Astral, So you smelled some paint and decided to come into my home? You can't just break into somepony's house to look at art!" He said to colt wondering if there was a screw loose in his head.

"I'm sorry, my body isn't what it used to be. One second I'm an adult, now I'm a filly again. Imagine that. You probably think I'm crazy, but yes, I used to be a full grown pony." Said Glowing. "My child instincts led me here. I apologize for this inconvenience for you and everypony else here."

"Wait so you're telling me you used to be a full grown pony too..." Astral was shocked by this of info he just picked up, "There are others out there who been turned into younger ponies, this getting ridiculous, this can't be real, all of this must in my head! First the younger me in my old home, then my farther turns out to be younger, and now a pony who sneaked into my old home says he used to be older and now turned younger!" He was beginning to freak out a bit, and this time all of his brain was freaked out. "This must be a dream it, it has to be! I'm probably just laying on a bench somewhere in a random town with no form income other random than odd jobs, and I'll wake up any second now and get back to that life."

"Sounds great, but I think we should prepare before on some long quest to see a pony, and get some answers," Astral said as he began to let out a long sigh. "Look it's getting late, and since you already here you might as well stay the night," he said while growing more tired.

Astral's father saw Astral coming down to see him. "What's going on, son?" He asked, "do you want to show me something or what?" He inquired further, now becoming more happy since his son was around with him at the current moment in time.

"Oh well I was wondering if my new pal Glowing here," Astral said pointing towards the colt. "Could have a little sleepover, I'm sorry for not telling about this it just slipped my mind, cause I met on the way home, and his parents were completely on board with the idea, also since he lives fairly near to us it won't be a bother if you said no." He said hoping his farther won't see though the lie, and that Glowing would play along.
