Hello, hello! 

    I go by ShineBright or "Shine" / "SB" or any combination of these things. Haha. I'm a really easy going artist hailing from Indiana, USA. I presently work in the security/loss prevention field and I spend my free time working with horses using natural horsemanship techniques, and making artwork! I spend my spare spare time playing on my 3ds (Animal Crossing: New Leaf is my most favorite thing. ;u;)  My pipe dream is to own a carriage company with some fancy draft horses, and maybe a photography business on the side! You can see where my priorities are! Eventually, I would like to learn another language, and maybe travel to a foreign country. (Russian/Russia would be great!!!)

     I've been into "My Little Pony" since the late 80's. I've loved the toys and stories (my favorite was G2, with the stereotypically girly "My Little Pony Tales" ) along with Care Bears and Lisa Frank and treasure Trolls and Rainbow Brite. I like colors! You feel me? Haha.

 

     I like music! I really enjoy Blue October, Whitesnake, and the occasional Oingo Boingo. I listen to almost everything, so if you've got a cool song you want me to listen to, feel free to send it along! I might find something I like.

 

     I'm just here to share art and maybe make some friends with similar interests. I recently watched a documentary about "bronies" and while I've been in this fandom since Season 1, I thought I should make some friends within the fandom. As the documentary said " You're among friends" and I think that's just awesome! Feel free to write me any time.

So you work with actual REAL-LIFE ponies? Awesomesauce!   You must share thy experiences in a blog sometime! 

 

Oh and, speaking of new languages (pun-intended), I'm actually also messing around with this app called Duolingo to learn a bit of French.   The app doesn't have tutorials for the Russian language yet, though. 

 

Anyways, welcome to the forums! With your interest in ponies before G4, you should have joined us in the forums AGES ago!

C: I know, right? I feel exceptionally privileged to work with such amazing creatures! And I'm definitely going to need to just pay up for Rosetta Stone Russian, or something. Teaching myself is not so great actually! lol

On a slightly unrelated topic, I just went on youtube a few minutes ago, and if you type "learn russian" into the search, you might find a number of good resources to supplement your knowledge of the Russian language.   There was quite a lot of tutorials and stuff!
