Alluress Glow 6 January 19, 2014 Share January 19, 2014 I am studying design engineering with a focus on mechanical design in college, and my career path in high school was art. I worked with Adobe photoshop and illustrator in high school and now I use CAD (computer aided drafting). This is a big change in software for me. Photoshop and illustrator are pixel based while CAD uses vector graphics. Which means I am going from a flat, data heavy image to a 2D or 3D rendering that only consist of lines. I am still new to CAD and I was messing around this morning, and started my first pony drawing. If I continue developing ponies, by the time I get to 3D renderings, I don't think I will be able to resist printing one [with a 3D printer]. So... messing around while I was at my dad's office kind of turned into opening doors of awesome possibility. Some of the lines are really messy and it looks even less impressive sideways.
