Hi i'm a new user named Dawnflame and i have questions about rainbow flashes

Has anyone noticed that in the most recent there has been rainbow flashes either in the eyes of a main pony or on a item given to them. Could this be the secret of opening the box or maybe a step into being able to open the box. Could the items be the keys to opening the box. Those anyone know all the items that had these flashes. I can remember only 2, so far Cheese sandwich's rubber chicken boneless and Rainbow dash lighting medal that was given to her by the wonderbolts. By the way does anyone think that some kind of energy is stored in whatever flashes.
