the jist of this animation is a huge Epic (a epic is a type of story) that is about 2 guys (ponies) battling agenst the forces of a evil demon (yet to be decided) and one huge world of adventure.

I have no experiance drawing and I think I am terrible. But I am here as last reserves.

You'd be better creating puppets for animation if you're doing 2D and using Adobe Flash Professional. But when it comes to how animation works with art, you'd be better off if you don't have a puppet, create them from scratch within the program you're actually using to animate with.
