Bugz 159 April 14, 2014 Share April 14, 2014 (edited) Imagine Rainbow Dash being accepted into the main Wonderbolt group. I tried to capture her feelings in a electronic, housey way. I really wanted to try some vocal slicing, so there it is. Link: If there are some experienced producers, I can take some feedback. (Also it keeps starting as 240p for me, I dont know whats up with that. Don't know if that changes the audio quality or not but i'd recommend rising that to least 360p or 420p.) Ribbonfree 2,384 April 14, 2014 Share April 14, 2014 yes house that's what we like The bass is kind of eh. I dunno, i feel like something less analogue would fit better into the overall timbre of the song. Like throw a high pass on or something, and then add some extra beef and depth to the lead line (or even better, an accompanying harmony synth). Other than that gripe the song's pretty nice. It's just short enough to avoid being repetitive, because as far as I'm aware you only had four things at most going on at one time. Good song, but not exciting enough to be a repeat song for me.

Thanks for the feedback man, I really appreciate it! I personally love that kind of analogue like square bass, maybe too much. And I have a habit of getting a creativity block when I try to make a longer song so I try to keep them short and sweet until I figure that out.

Oh yeah, I totally understand that especially. I used to struggle with that back in my earlier producing days until I learned the wonders of a fuckton of automation. Now I just struggle with getting ideas I actually like and can execute.
