Starora 12 May 9, 2014 Share May 9, 2014 I was thinking about how Pinkie's sisters, Maud Pie, wrote all of that... "Rocking" Poetry. She had like, what? Ten thousand? Just thinking about that made me want to write poetry about rocks. Rocks are Grey Rocks can be grey Rocks can be white Rocks can be purple or called apatite Rocks are my favorite when covered in sand Usually rocks Come from the land Igneous You are igneous from deep underground once you were molten and now you are round or now you are flat with air pockets inside You were in the ground where you would hide Rock in the water I was at the beach to get in the water and look for rocks to study their matter when all of a sudden came floating by a rock it was full of bubbles it is igneous came from a volcano it all came to this now I study you back in my van you were rare I put you in a can Sediment From a small grain of sand that washed in the pond you all piled up and now you are gone there was so weight atop that none could of stood you compressed to a ball or a slab like some wood my hair washed in that pond when I was just young and now your my pet my pet rock Rocks for life Rocks Smocks Ticks and Tocks Time running not much time Pinkie silly silly, filly Rocks. Now that I got that out of my system.. whaddya think? 1 Ellise Aet rill; amlos riik. And yes, that means something. http://i.imgur.com/UiNYerA.png And remember, the internet is always right. Hyperhooves 872 June 6, 2014 Share June 6, 2014 I found a few rocks in a jar I can throw them really far I can throw them up, down, and all around But, for now I'll leave the rocks on the ground I may come back for them, maybe not for sure But, I do know one thing, having only rocks can make you really poor This is the best I can do, I hope you all like it. Yeah, I'm not really good at writing stuff about rocks, but I can make good poems about other things. Please help my egg.
Convergence 83 June 6, 2014 Share June 6, 2014 (edited) the very root you bear the weight of a world you cannot comprehend a society that chooses to forget you cradle all life in motionless arms you lay discarded Conceived in fire and passion; born of starvation all suckle at your teat as your coffin collapses you have been, will always be the path to guide our steps. trodden, crushed upon ponderous hooves. eyes tilting to the heavens The root of the world dismissed as a mere rock. My attempt at rock poetry. Really bad, I know but not horrible for a poem written in 10 minutes. Edited June 6, 2014 by Golden Shield This amazing signature was made by Azura, thanks my friend!
