It's cool, but I'm more of a dubstep kinda guy. Awesome job by the way.

It's an okay listen. 

 

That rhythm is just way too repetitive  You could've at least put a fill-in and a change-up. It just got boring after a while. Plus the lead for the melody is too soft. What would've been better was to have the melody lead in a filter and after the first eight bars, start to sweep it out of the filter and convert it into a nice and bright sawtooth wave. This would then add some variance, which you're severely lacking in this piece. Also, I see you were trying to get that funk feel into it and I feel that the tempo you chose was a little too fast. Slow it down to get that funk vibe. I'm just getting a regular house vibe. 

 

This piece could really be improved. I suggest you go back and revamp it.

I agree with Thunder on some of the points he made but i think this has the foundations for a really funky style house tune, with a bit of TLC this song could go either way though. 90's house or funk. I honestly think this tune has mass potential. Soooooooo much potential man. If i were you i would revisit this tune in future.
