Hello there fellow bronies!

Unfortunately I've got some bad-ish news... Which is why I decided to create a blog post for it instead of just a status update, because I feel like I need to get some things off my mind...

I've been feeling really down and bad about my MLP-hobby for a while now. It feels like the only things I do these days are things related to MLP, and I feel it's messing with my normal life. I knew it was getting bad when the only sites I had been for the last month were MLPforums and FIMFiction, but today I finally realized something... I'm outright obsessed with ponies. And that is not good.

Because of ponies, I've been neglecting my social life and work. My free time has also suffered from the constant onslaught of ponies. I have more than 20 books I have bought, but haven't read because there was always a MLP fanfiction to read. I've been late from work more than 10 times because I've stayed up late watching MLP or just generally derping around the forums. Even my girlfriend (a brony herself) thinks I'm taking it a bit too far, and I'm finding I agree with her.

Finding My Little Pony was the thing that saved me from depression last year, and I couldn't be happier that I found it, but I'm really getting too deeply involved with this. My whole life is revolving around ponies and I find it's similar to an addiction. I can't stop!

That is why, starting from next Monday, September 23rd, I'll be taking a leave from the brony community. How long it'll end up lasting, I don't know, but I'll be staying 100% away from anything MLP related for at least the next month. That means you won't be seeing me around the forums for a while. (not that I've ever been horribly active, but still...)

The reason for the "one month" rule I set up for myself, is because in about one month my girlfriend is coming to visit me and we decided on watching Equestria Girls together when she gets here. After that, I might come back, or I might not. The back limit for this will be November 23rd because of the premiere of the new season. (conveniently 2 months exactly XD)

Either way, if you have something absolutely necessary you need to tell me, do it by September 22nd 23:59 GMT+3 because after that, I won't be here for at least a month...
