Innovations: Disney Transport only operates 1 transit center to act as its hub. This is known as the the Transportation and Ticket Center stop. Disney Transport avoids creating its own hubs by providing direct service from each hotel to each attraction avoiding the use of "stations". This causes longer wait times if guests need to transfer buses. The service was intended to keep tourists from using their own vehicles creating traffic and paying for parking more than once. The service is also used to move employees or "cast members" from various locations. Disney Transport drivers are often instructed to use the wheelchair ramps regardless of wheelchair presence to make loading and unloading children faster.
Uniform: Disney "Cast Members" are each given a distinct uniform or "Costume". Most of which are notoriously unsuitable for the hot Florida weather. Disney Transport Costumes revived the Bus Driver uniform in the tradional sense.

Driving Dynamics: Following a set route and schedule, Disney Transport operates more as a shuttle/circulator service as there are no set times for arrival. Most driving is done on Disney owned property unless public roads must be used. Large amounts of excited tourists and children create a noisier than usual driving workplace.
