I don't typically finish what I start. It's a curse. I have loads of unfinished projects just laying around that will probably never see completion. When I started this project, I thought I wouldn't even reach World War I.

1949 is the halfway point. Between 1900 and 1999, this is post #50, and hell's bells, I'm still going strong. Maybe it has something to do with this post being written a full month and a half before the day it comes out, but I don't care. Something about A Century of Song just compels me to see it through to the end. So far, I have worked on this project every single day since I have started it, and I see no reason to slow down now.
