My parents have been annoying me about my collection since I started collecting MLP items but it really started when I want to go to a conversation about MLP and I called my sister that was living in the area if I can stay at their place while I go to the conversation and she asked what it was about and I told her what it was and then she looked it up and then she believes that MLP conversation was to meet up and date guys and girls but I kept telling her that is wrong and then she told my dad and he had a go at me for it and said are you gay and I said no but at that time I didn't know I was and then he took my only transportation away from me for 1 month then he gave it back to me and still says to me have you gotten rid of the collection

And I have others about it and they say that's really horrible that this is happening to me just for having MLP items and liking the show

And they all said you might need to see a counselor about it cause I might been on the edge of going into a depression

I think it's just so dumb that parents have to get all crazed about their kids likening mlp I don't see what's the big problem my parents don't care if I like it and they like that I make plushies and draw fanart it just doesn't make sense why parent freak out they should let their kids like what they want to like

I'm getting the same crap from my parents, only they're angry about Brony Music! No one else even knows what I'm listening to, and for some reason they think that it's bad. But enough about me, I understand your situation completely, my family has given me so much shit for being a Brony I've thought of doing some very bad things to myself and I still am. Listen to me when I say this: Don't let their words effect you. Just let them bounce off you like rubber bullets. And about your MLP stuff, take it all and hide it. And eventually, they'll forget about it. It worked for me, and if that doesn't work, I just don't know. I hope this helps buddy, and remember:

Never stop smiling.
