Hi. I'm using the internet.
To start this off, a little bit of background is in order.
A couple of years ago, when I first became a part of the whole MLP community, I used to play a lot of Team Fortress 2 on the computer. And I mean, a lot of Team Fortress 2. For that reason, obviously I tried searching for some good ol' brony servers to play in. I found many, and stuck to some I found to be the most fun. In one of those servers, I made some of my best online friends that I still keep in contact to this day. We don't play TF2 much anymore, but we do play a bunch of other online games together (LoL, Smite, Overwatch, Minecraft, Terraria, etc.), just hang out and have a great time.
As a group (say, we used to be 6 or 7 in total), nowadays we don't talk as much as we used to and sorta kinda drifted away from one another. But back then, when we did hang out a bunch, well... heh... hilarity ensued. These past few days I was speaking with one of these friends and we were reminiscing about the fun times we've had. We used to keep pages and pages of quotes and funny moments in our Skype group so we could always go back and have a laugh. Some of these might not make a lot of sense and might seem to be just completely random and stupid. But - prepare for cheesiness - they do hold a special place in my heart. Those short strings of online texting remind me the times when our friendship was unbreakable. That a simple computer monitor and an internet connection were everything we needed to make our days brighter. It didn't matter that we never even saw each other in person, or that we live thousands of miles away from each other. We had fun. And when I look back at it, it was all thanks to the MLP community. We all met there and remained friends ever since. Who'd guess, huh?
