The Swamp Fox is a wooden roller coaster built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC for short). It is located at Family Kingdom in Downtown Myrtle Beach. It is a figure 8 wooden coaster that despite its age, continues to thrill guests to this very day. It was built in 1966.

Review: Swamp Fox is a fun and classic woodie. Despite its size, this coaster has some good airtime, and with the buzz bars, it makes it better. 
 

Fun Fact: Buzz bars are characterized by just a single lap bar that doesn’t come in contact with the body. They are called buzz bars because when the operator lowers or raises them, the locking mechanism makes a buzzing sound
