Never gave it much thought.

"Quarks" sound cool.

I suppose neutrons (not giving it much thought). They give various elements some diversity and each some new properties!

Admittedly I don't understand this stuff like I basically understand protons, neutrons, and electrons but it's really interesting.

I think they didn't have any ideas for names, so they chose something random

Maybe “random” or “creative” should be used for subatomic particles too!
